Leaning towards the 255. Any advantages of the 204 over the 255?

Also, if I hold off on the cam for now, is there a tuner I can purchase and just load a tune into the bike and not have to have it dyno'ed?

The 204 will give you better mid range and and top end without losing much lower end. I'm happy with my 204's and think you would be too. But, the 255 is a good cam, as well. Many many people have the 255's and love them. Make sure the mods you put on will work well with each other.

I would suggest that you call Fuel Moto. They are great to work with and can get you what you need. The also give great advice if you tell them what you are looking to achieve. If you are just going to do a Stage 1 I recommend getting it from them including the tuner. They also sell cams and have lots of information on different set ups.

IMO, just ride your bike & enjoy it. First it's the pipes & A/C,but you need some type of tuner. But you never really get it dialed in just right. so then you go with cams. Then you never get it dialed in just right. Then you go with some other engine mods. But you never get it dialed in just right. Then your on here asking what can I do to get in dialed in right. My answer is to 'LEAVE IT STOCK" Sorry guys that's just how I see it. I'm sure there are a lot of guys that have there bikes dialed right on. For me I just want to ride & not screw around with it. Of course I was one of the guys that did a lot of mods back in the day when the bikes had a "CARB". just my 2 cents

The SE255 might work for you, as well. It's good for low end torque. You would lose a little on the top end but it doesn't sound like that matters to you. Plus, it is EPA compliant and they use it in their Screamin Eagle bikes so warranty shouldn't be an issue with the SE255. They can usually be found for pretty cheap too.
I have a 255 in my 10 Limited. It works pretty well. for me I had it. SEST, Vance & Hines power duals and monster ovals installed before I picked up the bike.
It has 84 HP and 97 TQ.
The only problem I found is I cant get over 120 mph But it has a weight problem 900 pounds. and a Batwing With lowers Just to much air to push around.

If the only problem you have is not getting over 120 mph, you've got bigger problems than you realize. LoL Be careful out there, any simple thing that goes wrong at +100 mph can turn ugly fast! Been there, done that... Ride safe with that monster.

Hey padsave, if you are concerned about warranty and want to go with a SE cam have a dealer install it within 60 days of purchase and it's covered under your warranty. That's what my dealer tells me.
I'm on the fence about it because there are other things I'd like to do and the 103 with stage 1 is pretty nice like it is. If I did it, I'd likely go with the 255.
