Default 8.5 black kw windshield
Anyone with the 8.5 black for bat wing wish they got the smoked?Just ordered one and am having 2nd thoughts(maybe should have ordered the smoked one).Does it obstuct your view much?

Well that depends on how tall you are. The black is just that, black, you cannot see thru it, so unless you are a big ole boy, chances are it will obstruct your view. I run the 6.5 smoked. My pop runs the 6.5 black.

Got the smoked. Why obstruct view that you don't have to?

I am 5'10" and just got the 9 inch ultra from LRS and I can see over it without issue. I am not sure if the measurements are the same or not with the LRS and the KW.

A friend got the black before a weekend trip. Although he got used to it, he traded it for tinted when he got back. I have the tinted and like.

Black looks cool on bike/batwing, but not very functional. I got the smoke 8.5" KW & like the view. Definitely call & see if you can get it switched...JMO
