How about a recurve, Klock Werks or Windvest.

Default just purchased

I'm in the same boat,I've gotten 2 windshields, from Harley. No matter what i've tryed to do to clean it,it seems to scratch. When you check with harley it's always something you're doing wrong.I just bought a long ride shield for my 01,they look cool, and they have to be better then what you get from Harley>.Happy rides to everyone!

Just bought a 9" Long ride shield. Will put it on when it gets a tad warmer.

My name's Spencer Gould and I'm with BaggerShield. BaggerShield offers a line of adjustable windshields that would fix your problem. BaggerShield's patented design allows you to switch from a low custom look shield to a higher cruising height in a matter of seconds without the use of tools or the need to carry extra attachments. We offer two models to fit the FLH line. The shorter one adjusts from 5.5" to 8.5" and the taller adjusts from 7.5" to 11.5". The taller model would fit your situation perfectly. You could cruise around at 7.5" when your by yourself and do a quick adjust when your wife rides with you. Check out www.baggershield.com for more info or give me a call and I can help you out.

I have 4 different sheilds from Clark, diff sheilds for diff looks and riding, after spending many $ on other name brand sheilds I have settled on these, they out perform the others I have had from HD CV MS by many factors not just a little. Great peopel to deal with and very reasonable prices.

Have not tried LRS myself though so cant speak to them.

I have a couple of the LRS Ultras. I like the 10" in light tint, at 6'1" and a 31" inseam & a C&C sport tour seat (lowered), top of the shield hits me at about my mouth. Nice quality & good price!
