Looking to replace my turn signal bulbs to LEDS as well as the brake light. Any suggestions for the best on-line deal? I have seen them as low as $5.00 all the way to $40.00. Is there really any difference? Thanks for the info.
Thanks for the info. Are the inserts from them worth the price difference as just doing bulbs? I have found the bulbs for around $22.00. Are they as bright as they claim? Thanks again.
You might check into Badlands. I have them and love them, got the whole set up front, rears, and brake with the module fit is great and a very good quality.
Custom Dynamics. HANDS DOWN.......Their warranty is the best in the market. I have had several problems with diodes on boards, LED's etc and they have helped through all problems. No hassles, only great service.
I use 1156/1157 LED bulds for automobiles, very bright and way cheaper than anything "marketed" for cycles. A lot of companies selling competitively priced automotive LEDs out there. I used a company called VLEDS, they have extreemly bright bulbs. http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/P...viewsTabAnchor look closely at where the metal base and the fiber meet, the design of the bulb base require that I carefully file down outer edge of the lower circuit card the LEDs are actually affixed to, they have been working perfectly for over 2 years now. Word of caution, the HD light sockets are very tight fitting to closely acommodate traditional incadescent bulbs look for bulb bases that have the additionl step in them if possible to eliminate the need for any modification. Truth be told I did have to ruin one to figure it out, don't dress them up on a grinder, gets too hot too fast and will melt the epoxy that holds the light assembly together, not a warranty issue. It only takes a couple minutes to clean them up with a small file.
