keeping black pipes clean
are the black pipes a bitch to keep clean . i like the look of them but if they're always going to be dirty and scuffed i'll stick with chrome . i'm not a guy who obsesses over clean so anything i can do to lessen the dirt is all good .

Seems like if they're a matte finish they are a pain in the *** to maintain. When they're hot, anything, that gets on them gets baked on (boots, dirt from rallies rain suit pants etc.), usually making it tough to get it off. WD-40 works well as does Goo-Gone. That's just been my experience with them. Maybe someone else has a better outlook on them.
I've seen a few black pipes with black heat wrap on them...looks pretty cool, IMO.
