Can anyone tell me who offers a Lay Down License plate bracket for 2009+ touring models. I checked HD...JP Cycles, etc. and all of them offer up to 2008 only. Thank You
I'm betting like me you happily installed the tourpak detach kit, tidied up the wiring, then realised the plate mount is like a big ol' spoiler back there.
The earlier lay down mount is to replace the 3 bolt stock fender mounted plate- which is no longer used. Plates now are under hung, mounted from the fender struts, or hung from the tourpak.
You could use an older lay down if you wanted to drill 3 holes in your fender
I did the same type of search and ended up using a 2010 Roadking signal bar and plate mount- it's better and out of the way. I probably paid about $100 to another Forum user. The chrome signal bar is also a little shorter than the stock bar that was on my bike.
that's my 09 EG Classic below
