I the PD would go after the bike thieves like they go after riders the world would be a wonderful place. Glad your replacement is on the way though.

 

Not sure the PD cares. My "druggie" daughter-in-law gave her son (who was living with us) a "new" PC that was clearly stolen from a self-storage place (it had all the office financial records on it). I turned it in to the police, told them where it came from, they returned it to the storage manager, but did nothing else.

 

Sorry to hear about your misfortune! Unfortunately we live in a world where many are simply nothing better than walking feces. Sounds like it worked out for you, good luck with the new bike.

 

Sucks that it happened, even if things did work out in the end. I'd be moving my stuff to a new storage place. But first I'd fill the place where my motorcycle was stolen from with all the garbage, road kill, etc. I could find. Then I wouldn't pay the bill and would let them open it up after everything was nice and ripe.

OK, maybe I wouldn't. But I'd think about it.
