That looks great. Looks like 12'' is the apes Im getting. Looks perfect. I had 16'' on my old bike, but I think 12-14 is perfect on SG.
What wiring kit/cable kit did you use?
I used +8 clutch and +8 brake. Some guys used +6 brake, I just wanted to be sure..... You dont need to extend the control wires. Just re route them around the radio and you will be fine.
I've been a member for a while, but never posted anything until now. I figured I could find what I needed through searches etc. This forum is great tool to learn about new products and any issues that people may be having with their bikes.
I have been looking at all the posts and have done a lot of searches on PYO bars trying to determine which I height I would want, black/chrome, and if there would be enough pull back for my 09' Streetglide. I also like the looks of the Carlini bars, but do not want to go that tall or wide.
I have looked on here for a while trying to determine how far the 12" PYO bars can be rotated back to get more than the 9" of pull back that are built into the bars, but I haven't been able to find the information. I had someone measure the amount of pull back that would give my arms a slight bend and it is about 11-12" from where the stock bars mount. Do any of you know how far the 12" PYO bars can be rotated back without hitting the tank lock to lock, and to where they won't look bad? The more upright they are the better they look.
As for height I like the hand position of the 10's, but figure I will probably need the 12's because of the pull back issue. Trying to do as much research as possible so I spend my money wisely, once I am able to afford it.

I had my 12's pulled back about 4" from the inner fairing (measured from 2" from the top point), I have since pused them forward 2" more. They hit my winshield now. I could've easily pulled them back 8" but they totally blocked my mirrors & they looked terrible, too. JMO

You mean 2" from the top point of of the bars to the inner fairing? Thanks for the info.
