I finished up the install of 12" PYO Monkey Bagger Bars on my 2011 Street Glide over the weekend. So far I love these bars. I now get more of a flying vs. riding sensation.
I was originally going with 10" MBB, but after waiting and waiting I decided on the 12" since Phat Performance had a set in stock.
Lookin good MoChrome, stoked we were able to help you out on your project. The finished results look bad ****!
I have mine about 4.5 inches away from my faring. I love them and they look great IMO. I am 5'8 and 29" inseam. 1 " lower kit on my ultra. I installed them my self in about 7 hours. Wires were semi-hard. I had help from my son in law.
I just had the 12 inch bars installed on my 2010 streetglide along with the Yaffe tank. I had to pull the bars back 3 inches back because it was to much of a stretch. Now my mirrors are partially blocked. But all i have to do if raise my elbow a little and I can see. I got the bars and tank from www.rockheadbikes.com. Apparently they sell mainly sport bike stuff but deal with a lot of Vtwin companies as well. Pretty good price for the bars and tank. $599 for the tank and $325.00 for the bars. Now I have another place to spend my money. My wife said she is taking my computer away from me LOL. My only complaint about the Yaffe tank is that there are very little seats for it. I have a C&C seat that cost me $350.00 plus an additional $500 to have it made to fit the tank and it still isnt perfect. I spoke with the people at lepera and they said they are making an additional 4 seats to fit the yaffe tank. I wish C&C would make one. They are an amazing company
I just did mine with the the matching engine guard. I will work on getting some pics up.
By matching do you mean the yaffe engine guard. If so, how do you like it. (craftsmanship, quality, looks, etc.) I am planning on the yaffe one and I am having trouble finding any opinions on it.
Yes I did mean the Yaffe engine guard. My amazing girlfriend bought me the bars and the guard as a Christmas present. I posted a pic after I destroyed the boxes in this thread;
We were at the Yaffe shop in September of last year. I sat on a bike there to get a feeling for the different heights. My girl saw the engine guard and said I had to have both because they match. When we got home she called and ordered them for me.
They are really nice, they match perfectly and the chrome is perfect. So far all my friends have said that they really like the look. I definitely do.

Hey the bikes look great, I just installed mine this weekend but I have one issue the shop gave me +6 clutch cable and that seems like it should be right but I can't get the slack out of the cable. They said the inner cable should be longer that the outer jacket and it is but I don't know if I didn't hook something up right or what
The bike is an 09 Street Glide any help would be great
Oh yeah and I got the stainless brake lines where did u guy mount the block that the banjo bolts screw into it is larger that the stock manifold deal
My bars did this on left side and Yaffe said some did not get welded by mistake in the philly shop. Mine was one of 16 that got missed. They are replacing mine at no charge and pay for labor to reinstall.

I did however notice that the left insert(tapered piece for the controls) is loose. It has play in it. They must not have welded it fully. I am just going to take the controls off and put a few tack welds on it and see if that will work. I damned sure don't want to take them back off!
