Hi all-finally getting around to doing some mods on my 99 Ultra Classic. Took the tour pack off and modified the am/fm antenna to mount off of the lh saddelbag bracket. Now i need to install an in fairing antenna just for the CB for group rides.
question 1) the JM Flexpower seems to get pretty good review but to get one delivered to me in Northern BC is gonna be over 100$, is there a more economical alternative that works? keep in mind its for CB only
Question 2) How difficult is it to install the in fairing units? Do you remove the outer or inner fairing to install?
Cheers and thanks
The jm antenna is easy as cake to install. Also has a plug for the factory cord so when you go back to the ultra, you can hook the antenna back up on ur tour pak. Only take off outer fairing. No need to take off inner fairing.
