Default Excessive Heat

Just recently had some mods done to my 2010 StreetGlide, had a LA Choppers Air cleaner, CAT removed, Power Commander V, and had the head pipes wrapped in heat wrap instead of going with heat shields. Yesterday was my first major ride since the additions and I'm experiencing extreme heat and a drop in my mpg. I thought removing the CAT would help with the heat issue and adding the power commander would possibly help the mpg but its opposite with both. What could be the cause or the fix to this issue?

Sounds like you need a better map on the PCV. If you got it from Fuel Moto give them a call.

What MPGs are you getting on your bike, I've got a 2010 Streetglide with these mods ( stock 2-1-2, with cat removed, Dyno tuned mufflers and PCV from Fuelmoto) been running this way for 2 months. Very little heat, but my MPGs are not higher than 33. Tried the last two maps from Keith with no change maybe you're set up might be better with a new map from FM.

My setup is the 2in1 with cat removed, Rinehart 4in, then the LA Chopper air cleaner with the PCV and after the first ride I am guessing 30-35mpg with very high heat. Based on my memory from last year I was getting around 250 per tank of gas on rides.
