I'm looking to replace my Air Filter with something like the Screaming Eagle or K&N. However, since I have leg fairings, I noticed they all the casings ride up on top of the fairings, basically blocking the flap from being opened on the back side. Any suggestions on how to prevent that, besides remove the leg fairings all together?

There are two different types. The link above fits your bike. The filter and the elbow are shorter to accomodate the lower fairings. I've thought about using the heavy breather also but I'm concerned about some comfort complaints regarding hitting it with your right knee.
