Tire size

Wonder if I czn replace my E3 rear MU90B-16 with the 160/80HB-16? will there be enough clearance on a stock 08 ultra (at least stock frame and arm). Thanks

I believe someone has (I remember reading it on a post in a earlier thread) on the later
(06-08) FLH's. Do a E3 search.

You should be able to get in a 150/80, but from what I've read, some on HDF are able to get a 160/80 in and others haven't. You're getting close to the limit on that width. Also if you have a 3" wide rim you may find a 160 is too wide. Certainly Avon recommend a 150/80 as the widest of their tyres that will fit (I have one on my bike).

I was running the E3 160 on the 07 street glide I just traded. I loved the tire and did not have any problems with rubbing.
I am hoping they come out with an E3 for the 2011 limited. Maybe a 190 for the rear

Anyone tried a larger tire with the stock rim on the newer bikes with the 180 rear tire

I've ran a 150 Metzler and I just install a 160 E3 tonight. It is raining so I just rode around the cul de sac with no problems. I believe the 150 metzler is wider than the 160 E3.
