I haven't experienced that on my 09, and I have 28k on the clock....

Find Harley Davidson's Tech Tip # 418, if you are concerned on what to do after and/or how to prevent the problem from occurring. Mine did the limp mode and I cleaned the pins and greased them as per the TT 418, no more problems. Your dealer should be aware of this tip.

I have an 08 and this happen to me once about a year ago. Where do I search for the tech tip?
