I know that when I bought mine, I actually found a better price at HD then any on-line Gerbing sellers I could find. Now I did order it on-line from HD, so I got 20% off, no tax, but it was a good bit cheaper than the one that still says Gerbing. Why? I don't know since they both are Gerbing.
I got the Gerbing and couldn't be happier, go with the jacket liner instead of the vest, a couple of bucks more but well worth it, the sleeves are heated and the wires to the gloves are built into the sleeves making it much easier to fish the wires through you jacket.
Great customer service, I had an element go out in mine and it was replaced without charge ( lifetime warranty on the heating elements) they even gave me a call a couple of weeks later to make sure that I was satisfied with the work

I started with the jacket and gloves, then added the pants and socks later. Don't use those (pants/socks) often but nice to have if I need. I would think you could get a good deal from a dealer unloading them since the cold riding season is coming to an end.
A buddy I ride with has the Gerbings and loves it, I don't think you can go wrong with either. Electrics really extend our riding season up here in Maine.
