I installed the 12.5 bars and could not be happier with them. I am 5' 11" and the 12.5 bars put my hands level with the top of my shoulders. My bike is an 09 SG with the stock seat. Hope this helps.

So. Do you say this for comfort reasons or looks?

Thanks.
With 10's you won't have to get extended cables and brake lines anything more and you will. I have 12's I'm only 5'9" and I wouldn't trade em for anything. Best money I spent on that hole in the water I keep throwing money into

The other thing is the PYO 10" feel like the Cyclesmith 13". I think they are both close to 12" bars IMO.

No need to replace cables on 10's. But all the wiring will need to be extended obviously. Ever internally wired bars. It's a pain in the a$$. Took me 6 hours

I installed 10" PYO bagger bars.....wiring does need to be extended, but I was able to use stock brake/clutch.....however, I did re-route the clutch cable under the fairing, mirrored the brake, and is actually better than through, as it has much smoother curve.

This is true, but if you don't extend them you need to reroute the wiring harness. It really isn't hard extending the wires.
