OK... likely a stupid question, but here goes.
I have a Super Tuner and just received the cable set (was on b/o). I had the dealer install a map when I replaced my header, mufflers and ac.
I want to learn to use the tuner, but for now I just want to connect it to the scoot and have a look at the calibration loaded.
I have read the manual and viewed the DVD. It only tells me to connect the cable to the bike, but doesn't indicate where the connector is located.
I have looked under the left cover and under the seat (at the ECM). I cannot find a connector that would mate with the 4-position female connector on my cable.
Mine is under the left side cover down near where the bottom of the side cover would sit, there are two connectors there and the top one of two is the connection for the SEPST its a female plug the bottom one is a male plug and not sure what is was for
I noticed you have already looked under the left hand cover and did not see it.
It has a rubber plug in the end to keep out moisture you need to remove that first and then plug in your cable.
Sometimes it's best to walk away and come back later... this morning I had another look under the left cover. The mating connector is there, it just uses 3-pins. I was able to have a look at the tune installed. Now I have some studying to do to gain a better understanding of the SEPST.
