The bulb isn't inside the gauge it plugs in behind it. You may have knocked the light socket out of the clip that holds it while installing your speakers. Just pull your fairing loose and plug it back in.

That got me thinking though (as I adjusted the light back into the socket), as that bulb just has a clear amber plastic on it. I personally hate the amber color for instrumentation lighting. Has anyone ever replaced them with different colors? Say like a blue (figured I'd match the colors of the Sony stereo)?
