Replace seat
Everyone's different when it comes to seats. I wouldn't consider anything other than leather. Vinyl doesn't breathe, which contributes to hotspots and monkey butt. Soft foam, including memory foam, collapses over time, which means that after a couple of hours you're sitting on the seat pan.
The Corbin DualTour is hands-down the best thing I've bought for my Limited.

It does suck that you have to buy 2-3 seats to find out what REALLY makes you happy
For me,Corbin dual tour.
I only have two 3k+ trips on it.
So far it's the only seat I've tried that doesn't have me squirming around after 300 miles.
I guess I like firm better!

i have 58000 miles on my Mustang ultra tour and it works...sat on Corbin before but it felt hard....I know they break in after a while but still felt hard....C&C feels great to sit on but i haven't tried it....Sundowner is a good seat. had one on the sporty and felt great....
I'd be cautious about Corbin
Not only they hard as a brick, but their quality and customer service have gone so far down they are a company I would really have to think about buying from.
Trying to get anything repaired or replaced is like pulling teeth. They won't take a warranty repair from anyone but the original purchaser, and that means the shop that bought it from them.
Just went through that with a back rest repair with one of my buddy's on the rice bike forum who has had my 02-S backrest since last summer waiting for Corbin to make good on the warranty on his backrest.
Did I mention they are hard as bricks?
Find someone local to do it. If you can find a junk seat so the shop has a pan to build up on, you won't have any down time

I purchased my seat directly from Corbin through there Florida Show Room. I Dealt with a person called JR and he was a pleasure to deal with.
I did have a problem with the seat I received and it did have to go back and be redone. The stitches where pulled to tight and it was tearing the leather. It took about three weeks for the turn around. All corrective measures where done at no cost to me including shipping.
I now have around 2000 miles on my seat, and all I can say is what seat!!!! I've only been 200 to 300 miles at a shot and never even notice I'm sitting down. Never ever any butt burn. My old seat, a Sundowner which was only good was for 50 miles before the butt burn set in.
I was not so sure when I first got the seat but around 1000 miles I just quit noticing anything about the seat. So, I guess a good seat it one that you don't notice anything about.
One thing the firmness of the seat seems to do is give you a locked in feeling to the bike.
I am a firm believer in Corbin Seat. There may be seats out there that are just as comfortable but I am very happy with my Corbin.
However, my wife does have a complaint with the seat, she's only got about 200 miles of seat time. Her complaint is she doesn't get to ride enough. My answer is I didn't buy the bike for her I bought it for me.
