Just ordered another pair of Wiley X's last week with the transition lenses. Sure am glad my insurance covers most of the cost.

Thats where I got mine. Wiley X airborne frames. Transitions lenses. As others have said they don't get super dark but it is dark enough for me. I rode all day on a very bright sunny day yesterday and they were fine.

+1 on Sportrx. They carry the same brands that Harley sells but they are much cheaper. Just got a set of 7Eye Boras. Sportrx has a transition lense that gets one shade darker than the ones sold at the dealer. FYI

I have a pair of HD ones I got last year with my bike. Didn't get nearly dark enough for me. Work well at night though, and were my primary night glasses last year. Just picked up a pair of 7 Eye this week and work well so far. They do get darker. I wish they got a bit darker, but I rode 350 miles in them yesterday and I didn't squint once, so they were very effective. I got the Taku which have the thinner foam. They fit my eye cavity very nice. Overall very satisfied so far.

I had a pair of transitions once. Got rid of them pretty quick. They sux on a sunny day IMO. If your riding with the sun to your back, they lighten up. Make a turn into the sun and they take too long to switch. Got a good pair of polarized progressives now. I can see my GPS and still see the road in front of me. Plus transitions do nothing for the glare. No comparison. Polarized lens don't need to get dark. They just do the job. And I don't mind switching to clear when it get dark out to get rid of the glare when its sunny.
