As I mentioned before, there's a ton of slop room in the rocker boxes. You should have noticed it when you pulled the rocker shafts out. You can literally push the whole support side to side when the bolts are loose. Sometimes you can loosen the bolts and shift the whole support to one side, and it'll get things in better alignment, and take away a little noise. The next time you're in the boxes and are screwing with the rockers, you'll see what I mean. The tolerances in these things are crazy......

I agree. This is good advice.
