Default Satelite ready?

I'm ready to put Sirius on the bike. Its the biketronics sony radio. It say SAT ready. Im already a lifetime member. Do I have to add anything or just call Sirius? Dont really want anything attached on the handlebars. Thanks

Im checking into this too. If Im not mistaken....you'll need either this kit - Sirius for Sony , which will allow you to control the sat radio thru the Sony using your handlebar controls. Another option is a 'portable' unit such as the Stratus 6, and Sirius Connect Sony Adapter, which connects the Status 6 to the Sony Receiver. Or, you can place the radio somewhere out of site, and with a longer 3.5mm cable, plug in to the AUX input on the radio.

Like you, Im not real crazy about it being on the handlebars. My last sat radio, a Status 5, quit working. Tried different docks, electrical hookups, with no luck. Im thinking either the vibration, or regular removal of the unit was the culprit.
