Fi2000 PowrPro with CVT Continuously Variable Tuning
Anybody have any input Good Bad ?? $200 really ??
Fi2000 PowrPro with CVT Continuously Variable Tuning. With PowrPro you can say good-bye to old-school EFI mapping mania and O2 sensor hassles.
The PowrPro reads the bike's EFI delivery at up to 80 times per second every time the throttle is opened to optimize the acceleration air/ fuel mixture, under every kind of load and under all existing conditions.
This is at least the third thread in two days on the Power Pro. When you check the prices for your make and model on the Cobra site link that you posted, that is NOT the Power Pro. That is for the FI2000R, which has been available for years. It is manually adjustable in three ranges, NOT autotune, and is available many places for less than $200.
The Power Pro has not yet been released, and Cobra's home page just has a description of it. Pricing is gonna be a a lot more than $200. Some sites are taking pre orders. Dennis Kirk has them listed as "expected soon," with a price of $599. Here's an example:
