Default Oil light flickers

I have an '02 Ultra that the oil light started flickering while running. It flickers when it is at operating temp and I back off the throttle. I am running good oil pressure and about 200* oil temp according to the gauges. It will flicker a little at idle. I changed the oil since it started flickering and it started flickering even more. I am thinking sender but hate to just change parts. I posted this on the oil page but got no feedback.
Thanks

I don't think it's the sender if you're getting a good reading on the oil gauge since they use the same sender, check and see if the wires coming off the sender are both on tight.

Should be running ~32psi pressure & 200-degree temp's good. I'd say it's either the sending unit, or pump's going out. Best to get it checked...before something goes South.

32 psi is when rpm is at least 2300. At idle and hot, oil pr will be less than 10.

I'v seen the timing chain tensioner shoe come apart a restrict the oil flow in the oil pump. Verify oil pressure with a manual gauge and hope its just the sending unit. Good luck .

I Installed the '07 camplate and new oil pump 6k miles ago. Am running 30+ lbs of OP at 2000 rpm and 200* temps. Will check electrical connections to see if it helps. I also cut apart the oil filter after last change with nothing out of the ordinary. Thanks
