Doc's Performance doesn't know ****. If you search hard enough you will find HD's own information that adding a breather and exhaust will only cause the EMC to adjust AFR back to 14.7 to one.
This information was starting with 06 and continues to date.
Again gutting the cat does not affect starting, running or any other issue.
But no one wants to run the 14.7 to one AFR. That is the reason for a tune.
Note: Few understand that the SE set of tunes also does NOT change the 14.7 to 1 AFR. Why? You ask. Because HD would be fined $10,000 per unit that they changed by EPA. It is against the law for them to mess with changing the AFR. This is another matter that if you research HD material you will find HD acknowledging this fact.
So go to after market tuners to get your money's worth.
You just proved that you don't understand how things work.Regarding Doc you will not find a tuner or person with a better reputation.

Instead of reading 8 pages of off topic replies. If no one said it, you have the o2 sensors turned around. Happened to me. Quick fix and she'll run great
Read my comment with more precision. I stated that contrary to doc's statement that changing the air breather and exhaust requires a tune is false.
If you want better performance then a tune that adjusts the the AFR to the optimum rate through out the rpm range and load then I agree with that.
I am sure that he is good with that. But get a Cobra Power Pro and it will be superior to any canned map as it adjusts 80 times a second to rpm, load, throttle, elevation and speed. That is as close to perfection that you can get.
No dyno needed, no labor charges nothing just plug and play then ride.
