lot of rain here in MO don't mind the rain, but with all this hail that's been coming with it from golf ball size to softball size there's no rain gear for that hammer time!!!

The jetstream situated further north than usual is the culprit, according to a weather report I saw yesterday. That's why it's been flooding up north and very dry in the deep south. Down here in the swamp it's been not only dry but unseasonably warm for the past several weeks, 88° as I write this. It's not like summer but getting uncomfortably close with humidity in the 70-80% range, which makes the heat index 93° right now. I can't complain, though, as we've been getting some good riding in lately with the current dry weather pattern.

Was reading this and saw something about rain gear. Being with everyone else and having constant rain, I figured screw it, I'll put the gear on and head out for a little after dinner ride. Went inside and noticed that the news had interrupted the normal programing and there was possible tornado in the next county over and moving this way. Needless to say, I don't feel like visiting Oz on 2 wheels so I am staying put. Was a good thought for a few minutes though!

Every god damn day in Washington state has been a bummer, minus the past three weekends.
