I knew getting my bike ready was a huge mistake. As soon as you spend time getting it ready the weather turns ugly...its almost a given. This has been the wettest April on record in VT..last year I was riding in March. To say this sucks is an understatement. I know the weather has been bad in other states..but at least it comes and goes..here it never leaves us..its always bad. Ask anyone who's lived here long enough.

 

here in s/w b.c i could count the days w/o rain (COLD) in the last 6 months on two hands....if my house had wheels i'd be pushing it south

 

If you want to ride bikes often, you have to live closer to the equator than the north pole. Lots of dry sunny days in the desert southwest. Move or suffer, it's your choice. Moved from Puyallup,Washingtion six years ago, couldn't stand looking at the bike in the garage all winter. Riding Mt. Rainier was pretty special though.
