Default ??? stage 3

hey all. i need some help. just picked up 07 SG from my local dealer. was in today replacing a rear tire. was talking with my salesman about my new bike when another salesman came in and said the bike had stage 3 work done. had dealer look in system but no record of any work. question, other than tearing the engine apart, is there a way to know if its had anything done. thought about putting it on a dyno. i guess that would tell me what kind of hp/tq its making. any ideas?? it defintitely is stage 1 with fuel pack . thanks guys

I think they might be yanking your crank, I dont believe a fuel pack would adequately support a stage 3 build. Poeple do have different definitions for build stages, you might ask him to clarify what work was done on the stage 3. And a little known secret, salsemen will say any damn thing, even a flat out lie.

yeah i was thinking the same thing. the guy who sold me the bike never said anything about that. this guy just jumped in out of the clear blue sky. the bike sounds good, runs good but doesnt sound like it has engine work done. just needed another opinion. sounds like my gut instinct was right. thanks for the input.

IF there is no paper work for any work done on the bike it is a lie IMO.

When I traded in my RK it had flowed and ported heads, flat top KB pistons, bored to 95", Andrew 37s, and a D&D fatcat. I gave them all the documentation.
I saw it on the floor, and the tag said it had a stage 1, go figure.
