Default Chrome Primary flaking inside

Just change the primary fluid on my 08 SG. HD chrome primary on when new. Have used SYN 3, then switched out to amsoil 2nd oil change and on. Tonight I notice the chrome underneath the gasket bubbling, it hasn't started to flake yet but its going to. You don't see it with the cover on, but I am worried when it does flake I'm in trouble when it goes thru the primary what kind of trouble am I looking at when it happens?

Well I don't know the answer to your question but I do know that I wouldn't wait to find out. I would replace the primary ASAP.

just me though.

I would think that any chrome flakes that got in there would be pulverized by the chain.

And don't forget about what it would do to the clutch. That would be more then I could handle. Getting stuck on a ride and the clutch goes out. Not good.
