Got the bike put back together, drove seven miles on fumes to get gas filled up made it one block stopped running. Bad day drain gas and start. over two tank still not running perfect any ideas o yea 10 flhr stage 1
Did you get fresh gas at a different station?
Check any electrical connections you disconnected (may be a connector didn't get mated properly or a contact got pushed out also check any place where a harness or fuel line may be pinched or rubbing.
If you ran the bike almost dry you probably sucked up some debris that was sitting in the bottom of the tank, or some moisture that may have settled there..Change your fuel filter.
Check the filter in the tank may need to be replaced
+1 when ever you go to the bottom of the tank, there's a chance of collecting the debri, plus what was in the last gas that made it bad? Good chance some of it still in your filter.
