i use i think the 6r12g's. the g means that it has a coating that's not supposed to seize in the threads, i don't know why i don't just use the 6r12's because i use the silver anti sieze stuff on the threads anyway. stock harley plugs work great. don't buy into any of that platinum, iridium, or unobtanium crap, it's just hype. standard harley plugs work fine.
Denso Iridium plugs, superior quality. Platinums are great also. Nothing wrong with oem plugs if you are on a budget. Won't last as long as the the exotics.

Installed the SE platinums at first, along with the 10mm wires. Shortly after, I noticed the check engine light was on. Talked to the parts guy at my local dealer, he said the stock 6r12 is all you need unless significant motor work is done.
I put a new set of stock plugs in and she runs great, light went out and codes cleared.
Note** when I removed the platinum plugs and checked the gap they were a little tight (too close of a gap), so not sure if it was improper gap causing the code.
Bottom line: the stock plugs are fine, just make sure the gap is within spec (.040 is ideal) whatever you use
