Default Electrical Peoblem

I am an electrical dumb---, but I bought an air wing saddle bag lid and light kit since it looked so easy to install. The rails went great and the electrical so-so but when I hooked them into the accessory plug under the seat, no lights. Checked the plug and no power present. I thought maybe the accessory switch on the dash needed to be on but looks like no power there either. ( The green light does not come on ) Any help would be greatly appreciated before I roll into the shop and have them tell me it was something I did.

Check your fuses you may not have one in that spot.
