I use it on my 09 Road King with no problems, and it is reassuring to see clean oil pulling through.
I bought it for peace of mind specifically for my Harley because of its air-cooled engine. The fact that the bike came with an oil cooler, tells me clean-as-possible/functional-as-possible oil is a good idea.
I owned a bunch of water-cooled/radiator bikes that I didn't worry about as much, so never had the need for a scavenger device.
Yeah, it's a little pricing but it's well made and works just like it says it does - which isn't always the case these days.
Will my motor last 500,000 miles because of it ... probably not ... but for a little more piece of mind, it was worth it for me.

Speaking of the devil ...
I just changed my oil on the lift yesterday using the Scavenger. Once again, my belief in this (or a similar device) was confirmed when you see first hand just how much old oil gets spit out after the initial draining.
Probably wouldn't want to mess with it every day, but once every 5,000 miles is fine.
