I have done a search, and having a hard time finding what exactly I am looking for
If I switch to a 21" wheel in the front and an 18" in the rear, doesn't that throw the speedo off? I'm assuming the speedo is reading off the back wheel....and would only stay correct as long as the wheel is the exact same diameter.....
What exactly do you have to do with the stock front fender to keep it from rubbing? Do you slot the holes? That "Native bagger" website talks about drilling out rivets and bolting their system on....doesn't sound good to a guy like me who doesn't want to start repainting fenders. I'm guessing once you tape the rubber line over the tire and put the fender on, you can see what needs to be "augered out". Again, paint concerns.
as for the native baggers, pauls kit lets you lower the fender onto the tire better - but as you noticed requires alittle more work. when i did a 21 on my stock fender i just had to drill the back hole out some to tile fender forward and it worked.
as for the speedo - yes it will change if the tire is much bigger 1-2mph max - the stock setup on my 11 was off about 3-4 mph faster when checked with gps
