Question Oil Filter

Read enough threads about red line heavy, sounds good. Going to switch to that next change, also going to mobil 1 syn. Getting away from syn3. Question is, are you using the regular Harley oil filter or using a different filter? What else have you switched to away from Harley?

I used the HD filter on my 07 and plan on using it on my 2011. I have no complaints with the filter.

K&N, with the bolt top, much easier to remove.

Like oil, oil filters also stir up the pot Champion Labs makes the H-D filter proprietary to their specs. Champion Labs also makes the corresponding size in a Walmart Supertech filter for $3 The Walmart filter meets H-D's oem specs. The question is do you want a $3 Walmart filter on your $20k bike?
