I have a PCV w/auto tune installed in an 08 Ultra. While riding home yesterday all of a sudden it almost felt like I was running on one cylinder. I felt the exhaust and air was coming out of both pipes. I have tru duals. I check the plug wires. everything seems OK.

I just installed an air horn the night before and thought maybe a wire from the auto tune to the PCV came lose. I also filled the gas tank yesteday before riding home.

The problem happened for a couple of miles and then came back to normal. I rode for a few miles more and it went back to running with half power. It almost smelled like gas. Then after about 10 miles it ran OK again.

Has anyone had a similar problem or does anyone have any ideas what to look for?

 

Try accepting all trims on AT. My 08 RK started acting strange a while back, not sure if it was due to winter formulation for our gasoline in Cali or what. I accepted trims and have no more problems.
