I can promise you that it would NOT be a good idea. And I would not even consider ASKING for their permission. Just plain old common sense talking here. They don't take these things too lightly.
But if you got to do it - then do it. Let us know how you made out and don't forget to include pictures of their response.

IMO. Actually, I think this is a good thread. Many motorcycle riders do not understand the seriousness of colors/clubs emblems. Some are just social but some involve a lot more. Always respect and never play with them, sensitivity in certain situations is high.

I agree with you. There was a post about wearing colors and some of the members here don't seem to truly understand what colors are. I am not flaming anybody. I would hate to see anybody get their *** whipped just because they wore the wrong thing in the right place

ATC2 you make an extremely relevant point... there is a HUGE difference between a M/C and a R/C. Disrespecting the name or colors of an M/C can take many different directions, most of which the ordinary rider would have no clue about. I heard a story once about some Outlaws being outraged when a paramedic cut the jacket off one of their members after he'd been in a wreck. Blood soaked and all, they were furious that the colors hadn't been handled "properly". Dissin' their name on a t-shirt could only bring pain to the wearer.

Much good advice in this thread. I have respect for all the 1%ers I know, this would definitely be a disrespect. The brotherhood within most clubs is fiercely protected, many years ago I had asked a club member for a patch they wore "I am my brother's keeper" no avail, a long education about what I was asking for ensued. Most clubs have kept a low profile for a good 5 years now, I don't think it's something you really want to enter. Some of the suggestions such as "Grey Angels" would save you a lot of grief. D-Kay

Why? Have they done anything to earn your respect or are you simply afraid of them?

Anyone interested in learning some basics regarding Motorcycle Clubs and Riding Clubs the EASY way might want to check here:

Nothing earthshaking there, but the more you understand what clubs are, the more you will enjoy your motorcycling experience.
