I would be furious by now. I'm sorry this has happened to you. Did you get a free HOG membership with your purchase? I thought those came with all new bikes. They will tow you free of charge if you do and if you don't have membership, they should still pay for the tow and give a couple of free services or something for all your troubles. This is the kind of crap that gives HD dealerships a terrible name. Speaking of that, maybe you should post the name of this dealership.
that really sucks. if you go through the chain of command, talking with the service manager, store manager, store owner, etc, well, i just hope you get results. if all else fails, i'm sure that another harley dealership would love to do your warranty work for you. good luck.
Hello, thanks! This is alot of info. When I get to a dealership I'll take this with me. I got another email from a guy with the same porblem on his 2011 FLTRX. He has his in the shop for the 3rd time now as well. WHATS UP WITH HD! THanks again.
I have a 2011 RGU and had a problem with it going into limp mode. Had to replace the throttle position sensor. Dealer told me to turn off the rear cylinder shut off system since I had race tuner and SE255 cams. Have since installed LeNale cooling fan for parade conditions cooling. Hope this helps with your symptoms.
Hey GoldTop noticed you posted it up in the forum. Yeah these guys on here have always helped me out. Anyway good luck keep me up to date on the issue and let me know if i can help. Later!!
Darrell, I believe I sent you an email on here, but if you need more info could you give me your home email, and can email you all that I have found out. There are several things that need to be checked and if you have questions call 319-362-9496, and ask for Brad in service, he may be able to help direct your dealer on getting this problem fixed.
