Default Tire Question

Will a 160/60 18" rear wheel and tire fit on a 2003 Electra Glide or is it too wide? Thanks!

Tight but mught....you know how the fender can be off center a bit? you might also have to trim the belt guard.

I don't mind trimming the guard a little if it'll fit. I'm looking at a used set of custom wheels and don't want to drop the $$$ unless I know they will work. Can anyone else offer up an opinion???

i have an 07 Electra glide and i put a 18 on back and a 21x3.50 on front and im Running a 160-60-18 on rear and a 120-70-21 on front . there are small issues doing it tho. like the guy above said Belt gaurd does have to be trimmed alil bit to clear the tire but will fit on my 07 ...your 03 im not sure if the belt is wider or not so that could be an issue not possitive..that was my only problem putting a 18 ON THE REAR. NOW IF YOUR GONNA DO THAT REMEMBER THIS THAT WHEEL AND TIRE COMBO IS 1 1/2 INCHS TALLER SO SPLIT THAT IN 1/2 AND IT RAISES YOUR BIKE 3/4 OF AN INCH. SO I ADDED THE LOWERING BRACKET TGO LOWER IT 1 INCH ... sorry cap lock lol... the 21 in front was more of an issue but not major. the tire will rub the inner part of the rear fender and bumpers. you will have to remove bumpers if you have them asnd cut the fender mounting holes so they are ob longedso the fender can be raised about 1/8th inch so it wont rub n burn the paint.. i learned the hard way on front fender . also if going larger on front the wheel is 2 1/2 inch taller so i lowered the front 2 inchs .. its riding at stock hight and ride quality is same. DO Not put lowered shocks on rear unless you only ride in city. the ride is way to rough... buy the cheap lowering brackets that offer 1 or 2 inch lowering for rear shocks if putting an 18 on back.. i put lowered shocks on and it was Horrible riding alone and way worse with passenger. i put stock shocks back on with the brackets and rides like a cadillac again ..
