Bugs-B-Gone, from SeaFoam, comes in a 2oz spray bottle that I carry in my bags. Just the right size for road trips. It emulsifies those buggers, as I'm sure the other products mentioned here do. I just like the size for travel.

#4 (I think) for wetting a towel and laying over the windshield, fairing, lowers, whatever. Leave it for about 30 secs - or longer if you've got other stuff to do. When you take the towel off the bugs come with it. No rubbing (ie scratching) needed. I've used Plexus, Pledge, and a dozen other products and they all require some rubbing - not the soaked towel.

Yep; warm water will soften them right up

The best product I've found to date is Rejex. Got the tip from iclick on another thread awhile back. It is used on aircraft. Bugs don't stick as bad and they wipe right off with wet cloth.

If the wet towel idea works that great I may just use a few all over the bike. Well, at least the front fender, chrome lowers, lights and windshield. On a side note, after a long winter this is no time to be complaining about bugs!!!! Nonetheless, glad ya asked.

Have any of you suggesting the purchased products tried Peroxide and found it inferior? like an open wound with peroxide it foams up when hitting the bugs and they come right off. I can't see any reason for buying something for 8-9 bucks when peroxide works so well.
