I soak the bug juice with some water and let it sit for a minute or 5; then lightly wipe 'em off with a sponge. Follow up with a detailing spray to make it all shiny and stuff.
I just soak a beach towel in water, ring it out, and drape it over the fairing. Let it sit while I wipe the rest of the bike down and the bugs just wipe off with the towel.
Hydrogen peroxide and water is about as cheap as you can get & works very well. I make a new batch every season as it has a limited shelf life once its opened. If you leave it in a clear bottle in the sun for a few days it turns to water, as in H2O. That is why its sold in opaque bottles.
I think it helps to keep the fairing well waxed too.
dreyer sheets... without a doubt the best way to go,,,wet the area a bit,,wet dreyer sheet slightly, wipe off easy,,and away go bugs .even my OL did it on her car..she was impressed, and if i can impress her, then i am THE MAN!!
Mix hydrogen peroxide 50/50 with water in a spray bottle. Spray it on, let it sit for a minute and wipe them off. Don't bother with anything else, works fantastic.
Best bug remover I've ever tried!
At .99 cents a quart,it's cheap but works better than the $6-$8 crap!
Heck I haven't even see a skeeter yet up here in WI, but ya know those moments ya remember from your mom or dad that just plain stick with you forever? Well i was scrubbing bugs off the front of my 78 Cutlas w 350 rocket was kick ***, anyways I was working my *** of being an idiot. Along comes my dad, beer in hand with a **** eating grin and says, I will do this portion. He drappes the towel soaked with just water over his section and sits down to sip his beer. Anyways about 3 minutes later he pulls the towel off, already covered with bugs and grins as he gently wipes off the rest. Spoke one word and this is the part that really sticks with me, "saturation". Saturation is the key here...

S100..should be available at your local Harley shop. I'm sure there are other solutions out there, but being a new Harley owner last year, I asked the same question bc I was concerned about Harley's softer paint. The S100 is the absolute bomb and comes in a total bike wash. Just make damn sure you spray it on a cool bike and rinse it before it drys. I then get out my back-back leaf blower and....Job done with no scrubbing whatsoever
