Default clunk of junk
2008 flhtp 103 when your in gear 1st 2nd or 3rd doesn't seems to matter it will clunk when you give it gas or let off the gas what do you think the prmblem could be? thanks in advance

could this be my problem i checked my clutch today and the shaft where you put the allen wrench at had a wiggle ,so i adj. clutch per the manual and still have a wiggle in the shaft is it normal or do i have a issue thanks for your help

yes it still wiggled after i tightend the lock nut doesn't seem right

Replace the adjuster and lock nut.

Again the dirty word "compensator" come to mind do you get the BANG at start up? I get the same clunk when in gear.

Change out the shift linkage. Its worthless. Probably will tighten things up a little bit and you will get firmer and better shifts.

i already replaced shift linkage the 2008 police came with se compensator. it runs fine and starts without any noise, just a clunk when you give it on and off throttle like theres slack in the primary
