I have a size 13 boot. When I bought my 2010 UG it felt like I was riding bow-legged. My first modification was to put on a set of Kuryakyn floorboard extenders - they not only move the boards out 1" but move them ahead an inch as well. Fit behind the lowers and have an added benefit of putting the heel shifter at the back of the floorboard (where it should be stock).
I have the harleygoodies set and they are machined/designed perfect. I can't speak for the other brands available but doing this modification was one of the best things I've done for my bike! I'm 6'2, size 13 and after installing them I finally feel comfortable on the bike, odd what such a small addition will do.
Soos came down to my house with a 6 pack and installed them while I drank the beer! Can't beat that! Oh yeah, he detailed my bike too! Top that for customer service!
Harley Goodies is a forum member as well, and is a super nice person..
I had a question about his extenders and he called me back immediately.
Recommended highly!!

I like they go out and up an inch. I am leaning more towards them.
I would also add the easy brake and easy shift, they are great products! They move the shifters so they dont hog the floor boards and move the brake pedal forward and down so its not such a drastic reach to get your foot on it... just a thought...
