I bought Soos' kit a couple years ago. They definately made the ride better. Hindsight being 20/20...I'd have gone with the 1" instead of the 3/4".

I spent a couple hundred dollars to add highway pegs to my engine guard for stretching out. I ended up still feeling bow legged and cramped using the stock floorboards. I got the 1" harleygoodies extenders to move them out and the HD extended floor pans to move them forward 1". Great combo! I'm pretty sure if I'd put the extenders on first I wouldn't have needed the highway pegs.

There are two discussions going on about different products!

1. Spacers move the footboard brackets OUTWARD, Soos and others.

2. Footboard brackets that extend the foot FORWARD. The small guy and owner of the patent: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/harle...Q5fAccessories

Both worthy mods, especially when combined.

I went with Kuryakyn as theirs move both out and forward. Size 14s are happy now.
