I just put a D&D fat cat with ghost pipe on my road glide and I think it sounds great! I purchased mine with the concentric baffle and I have the 103" motor if that makes a difference. Its deep at idle and has a unique snarl on decel, but I think that sounds like a big block so I like it. Some of the other baffle options that D&D offer are a bit to raspy for my liking. Go for the concentric!
I love the workmanship and performance of my D&D. Some said the newer Rineharts are no longer made by Bub and that there were fitment and chrome issues. That may have just been a vendor transition issue that could be resolved my now. Worth asking about.
Neither.............RB Racing LSR....out performs and sounds better thasn both.....
And you know this running an air cleaner and cams?? LOL
I've had both Rinehart and D&D - both perform well but sound different. Depends on the other mods on your bike - the same exhaust will sound different on another bike. Cams, big bore, and headwork will all alter the sound of your ride. Supertrapps are getting great reviews as well and the sound/performance can be altered with plates. The important thing is you're getting a 2-1, whatever you choose you'll love the sound and performance.
