Like I said, they didn't work for me. I'm now running Chubby Wild Ones, WO577 (12.5" 'mini apes') and LOVE them. I got back from a 3,200 loop to Phoenix last week and had absolutely none of my prior issues. For the WOs I needed 6" over cables and brake lines (went with Magnum Chromite); able to splice wiring without extensions (big PITA factor though), but I couldn't be happier.
Like someone else, I've got some Ergo Ups for sale (actually due to an unreconciled shipping SNAFU, 2 bars, one new in box).
Ergo back. I like them. I had to install a longer Clutch cable and longer brake lines. For me, the original cable was bent to much. I used Rusell Brake lines and compensator.
I have the ergo ups, on my street glide. I am 6'1" and these bars have made all the difference in comfort!! Had to go to bar mounted mirrors....which in my opinion looks better! Able to keep all stock wire and cables and change out bars in about 4 hrs...just make sure you know if you need throttle notched or not!
I had to machine mine out and notch them...but I also have that technology at my disposal.
Wrist position will be the difference between ergo's and chubby's. Ergos have more of a drag bar feel and the chubbt's have more of the stock wrist position.

I generally agree. I'd probably put the Chubby's wrist position somewhere between stock and the Ergo position. Also Chubby's a bit taller, hence cables and line extensions needed.
