Default Replacement H4 Headlight Bulbs

I know that PIAA is a brandname, but for the sake of this thread I am using it in a generic way. Upgrading from the OEM bulb, are PIAA type Anti-Vibration Xtreme White Plus bulbs any better than non Anti-Vibration bulbs by PIAA or any other manufacturer? Are Anti-Vibration bulbs worth the extra cost? Any personal experiences good or bad?

Clarification: I had upgraded to the PIAA bulb above about 2 years ago. Low beam just died and now have to replace it.

Got 15K out of the first one in a 2 pak of extreme white plus, expected more from an anti vibe, high $$ bulb, maybe I'll get more out of the 2nd.

Still ain't figgr'd out which way you're going? Just dig down in those cobweb pockets of yours (tightwad) and get some ceramic plugs and use the ones you picked up!

My PIAA low beam just burned out and I think I had maybe 2 seasons out of it. Not sure when I installed it exactly. I liked the light intensity but the cost is up there.

Changed my stock bulbs after 2 riding seasons....figured they were about
ready to go kapooch. So I started the 3rd season with a new pair of
Sylvania bulbs.....one of the brights died after 10k miles.

This spring I have a pair of the PIAA Extreme White Plus w/ anti-vibration
elements......I'm hoping for better results.

A friend is using standard PIAA in his pickem-up truck, and plows snow
in the winters with it.....same set has been in for 5 years.

The PIAA bulbs are costly, and splitting my fairing to change bulbs is a PIA....
I'll either praise these bulbs or curse 'em til the cows come home.

This damn wet cold weather has my panties bunched up, and I'm grouchy
all the time !!!!

Got mine here but paid about $4 less a few months ago. Authorized PIAA dealer too...

I put the regular PIAAs in my 11 RGU back in the beginning of April. I will see how long they last.
