Default 2011 Ultra Classic Electra Glide Limited

Hi Everyone,

I am getting my new bike next month.

2011 Ultra Classic Electra Glide Limited
vivid black

I'm glad to have signed up to this forum.

I have read so many posts and learned a lot, but I still have a long way to go.

Does anyone have any recommendations or expectations for the bike I'm about to get?

So far I got the following:

GPS - hardwire or use the 12V outlet?
New gear shift linkage
Mustang saddlebag lid covers
Push button fuel door
Tour Pack quick disconnect harness
HD Tour pak run/turn/brake light conversion
Floor board extention (harley goodies)
Short antenna's for cb and fm

I plan on doing the exhaust, air filter and power commander after I break her in.

Any other help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

2011rootbeerultra, nice color on the bike. I would have got that one, but they were all out.

I was also thinking about going with the rineharts, but I was thinking true duals.

Thanks for the reply!

Congratulations. Its a great bike - trust me.

You have picked some good extras there. Not that it needs it, but if you are still in the mood to spend money, you may consider floor board inserts, brake pedal, shifter arms and pegs, brake lever, highway pegs and Tourpack hinges. Oh wait a minute, thats my sickness. Nevermind.

If you decide to do performance work I have the S/E High Flow, S/E Fatshotz slip-ons, S/E Performance Street Tuner and S/E 254e cams. I think its a great combination and it is all warranty-friendly.

I would recommend you use the 12v outlet for your GPS. You can get a flush-mount plug and use a USB charging cable. Just unplug it when you remove the GPS (you can plug it in to the outlet in the Tourpack too for charging when not in use).

Enjoy the bike.

Just got mine, do the engine work within 60 days, HD registers the parts and is covered under full HD warranty, street parts only, no checkered flag parts. Adjustable HD mounts and HD pegs are a must, left foot is very constrained on floorboard. Thinking of removing heel shifter. Maybe a Hammock seat in a year.
Best of the best

Hi, guys. I am new here as well. I just bought a stock 2010 Ultra Limited and am trying to decide on the mods. How do you know which slip on's to go with? I'd like to listen to several before I decide. I'd hate to spend the money just to fire it up and think " I don't like that sound!"
