I run Penrite Sin 10 10-70. Not sure if you can get it in the states, I would expect so.

Kick *** oil.

Its actually thicker than Mobil 1 20-50 at 40 deg C, and it is the thickest oil I can find at 100 deg C.

I order my Red Line from Jegs. I use the 20/50 but here's the link for 20/60

http://www.jegs.com/i/Red+Line+Oil/816/12604/10002/-1

Very quick shipping and a free hat and stickers.

You will have no problem running 20w50. An oil cooler might give you peace of mind.

Ended up picking up some 20w50 Valvoline. Read some good stuff about it and got it for $3/qt.

Im using Amsoil Synthetic 60wt Motorcycle oil in my trike with 117" engine. I see a 10 degree reduction in the oil temps during the summer. I do use a oil cooler as well.

Just an FYI in case you didn't know, Amsoil makes a fully
synthetic straight 60 weight oil that you may want to consider..

If it's VR1 you're set. Good, stout oil at a non-stout price.

The Redline 20/60 is perfect for hot areas. I have ridden my bike from San Diego to Vegas in the hot weather running it with great results. It's great oil.

20/50 is a good all around oil for most places but in colder climates you might wanna use 10/40 during the winter (if you're not snowed in) and in warmer climates you should probably use straight 50 or 60 weight during the summer.
