looking to buy a new seat for my 06 roadking, i really like the saddleman model #897-06-0301, but as we all know its hard to try without buying first and i dont have the funds for trial and errror can anyone help me out, give me some insight if you have or know someone who does.. or maybe a place to try them... i live in south jersey.
Not to hijack your thread but I just ordered a solo. Will have my Corbin Dual Tour with 2 backrests up for cheap pretty soon if your interested. There's pics in my album.
EDIT: and if all goes well the sundowner may be for sale as too.
I have had a Corbin seat and several HD seats on various bikes over the years. The try before you buy thing is important with seats. Most dealerships will have the fit shop and will let you try all the seats they have on your, or similar bike before you buy. Very handy.
I just put the Saddleman Explorer without the backrest on my Road King and I really like it.
I have a Harley Sundowner for sale now. Its a comfortable seat but I wanted something different.
Would make you a good deal on it.
guys my friend has the sundowner on his roadking and its just to wide in the front for me i need something a bit narrower so my legs can reach flat footed,i was hoping to get alittle more input about the saddle man seats, i like the gel inserts, thanks for the help so far. keep the comments coming.
I'm in the process of researching a new seat for my 06 Street Glide at the moment. Have been running the Sundowner and have been pretty happy with the seat. I'm looking at the Comfort Stitch only because it has a 4" wider passenger pillion and quite frankly, I'd rather my wife be happy. My other possibility is the Mustang wide touring seat. Had one on a ricer and loved it.
